XICHANG Brian Dawkins Eagles Jersey , Sichuan, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- China successfully launched Fengyun-II 08, its meteorological satellite, at 9:02 a.m. on Wednesday from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The satellite will collect meteorological, maritime and hydrological data; and transmit information that will be used for weather forecasting and environment monitoring.
Both the Long March 3A rocket, which was used to propel the satellite into space, and the satellite were made by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp.
Today was the 203rd time a Long March rocket has been launch.
The previous satellite, Fengyun-II 07, to be sent into space was launched on Jan. 13, 2012, and works well in orbit.
LONDON, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Manchester United have signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in a deal that sees the Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan move in the opposite direction.
Chile forward Sanchez, 29, scored 80 goals in 166 appearances after joining the north London side from Barcelona in July 2014. He was a member of two FA Cup-winning squads (2015 and 2017), scoring in both finals. "I am thrilled to be joining the biggest club in the world," said Sanchez. "The chance to play in this historic stadium and to work with Jose Mourinho was something I could not turn down. I am very proud to be the first Chilean player ever to play for United's first team and I hope I can show our fans all around the world why the club wanted to bring me here."
Manchester United manager Mourinho said: "Alexis is one of the best attacking players in the world and he will complete our very young and talented group of attacking players. He will bring his ambition, drive and personality, qualities that make a Manchester United player and a player that makes the team stronger and the supporters proud of their club dimension and prestige.
Sanchez has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal worth 14m pounds a year after tax.
Mkhitaryan, 29, moved to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga for 26.3m pounds in July 2016. He made 39 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring five times and was part of their UEFA Europa League winning squad last season.
"I'm very happy that we could finish this deal and I'm very happy to be here," said Mkhitaryan. "It's a dream come true because I've always dreamed of playing for Arsenal. Now that I'm here, I'll do my best for this club to create history."
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said: "Henrikh is a very complete player. He creates chances, he defends well, he can absorb distances and he's very committed as well. I must say he's a player who has all the attributes."
It seems so easy. You might mistakenly think that complimenting a woman means telling them they are sweet or pretty or some other generalization. Let me tell you right now that a compliment like this is boring and trite. The idea behind giving a compliment is more than just trying to make the woman feel good, it is about trying to show how you are different than other men out there.
Don锟絫 Say Something Generic
It is totally boring to tell a woman that she is beautiful or pretty or attractive. They锟絭e heard it a million times before. If you truly want to compliment a woman, think of something unique to say. Don锟絫 tell her she has pretty eyes or nice hair or a great smile. Sure, sometimes this works, but it really doesn锟絫 do a bit of good in setting you apart from every other guy she has ever met. Think of something a little more original to say.
One way to do this is to make your compliment about something that she has invested time or energy in. For instance, when you compliment a woman on the color of her eyes, you can bet she锟絪 heard it a million times before. By saying something like this, you just blend in with the crowd and the dozens of other men who have said the exact same thing.
However, if you compliment her on the way her scarf really brings out the blue in her eyes, then you are already differentiating yourself from other men. You are noticing how she has done something to make herself look more attractive. You are noticing something about what she has done purposefully, not what already exists.
Make it sincere
Women can see through baloney with laser like accuracy. If you are just saying something to say it in the hopes of flattering her and you don锟絫 really mean it or worse, don锟絫 think that way at all, you are doomed. For instance, don锟絫 tell a woman you like her orange handbag just to say something, especially if you think it is hideous.
Instead, find something that you genuinely do like and compliment her on that.
I truly believe that you can find something to appreciate about every single person you ever meet in your life. Even people you don锟絫 get along with. There is always some quality or trait that you can like about them.
The same goes with meeting women. It might be her quick wit or her infectious laugh or her energy level. There are so many things that make each of us unique, it just takes a bit to recognize them and appreciate them.
If you truly want to compliment a woman, start noticing unique and desirable traits in everyone you encounter. Once you learn to recognize what makes someone special, you will be able to give a genuine, meaningful compliment to a woman. She will recognize your sincerity and your observational powers and this will make you stand out from the crowd.
