MACAO - Chinese President Xi Jinping said here Saturday that Macao compatriots have gained a growing sense of identity and belonging with the motherland, 15 years after the region's return to China.
Xi told a celebration gathering that the close national bond of "blood being thicker than water" is becoming ever stronger.
"Love for the motherland and love for Macao has become a prevalent value in Macao society," he said.
In the meantime Nike Vapormax CS Scontate , said the president, Macao, as a historical city where Chinese and Western cultures meet, displays a unique charm that belongs to a culture typical of Southern China, yet with a distinctive European touch.

"The valuable experience gained by Macao along the way should be cherished and remembered by Macao compatriots and people of all ethnic groups in the entire nation," said the president.

The president said the implementation of the principle must strictly abide by the Basic Law, focus on economic growth and people's wellbeing, uphold inclusiveness and mutual assistance, and promote broad unity under the banner "love the country, love Macao."

OSAKA, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Two men were injured and sent to hospital Thursday afternoon after an explosion at a pizza shop in Kobe, western Japan, local media reported.
The explosion happened at an outlet of Chicago Pizza Co. Off White x Nike Air Max 97 Nere Scontate , some 100 meters from the Subway Station Motomachi in central Kobe.
The employees of the shop were draining a gas cylinder when the explosion occurred. Two male employees suffered burns in their faces and arms.
A witness said he saw black smoke coming out from the shop and glass windows shattered when the accident happened. 15 fire engines were sent to put out the fire.
Local police and fire department are investigating the cause of the accident.
KIGALI， April 11 (Xinhua) -- Rwanda is set to turn the country's largest and oldest maximum security prison-Kigali Central Prison， commonly known as 1930， to a historical museum.
The prison that accommodates most of the high profile prisoners in the country will become a museum by June this year， according to the City of Kigali authorities.
Speaking to reporters on Monday， Monique Mukaruriza， Kigali City Mayor， said that it's a government property and it will soon become a historical museum.
"The inmates occupying the facility will be relocated to a newly constructed Butamwa prison in Nyarugenge district. It is going to be a touristic site for both local and foreign visitors to learn more about Rwanda through this museum，" she added.
Mukaruriza noted that it will be a general history museum， not prison history museum.
According to Sheikh Musa Fazil Harelimana， minister of internal security， Butamwa prison also in Kigali City will soon accommodate inmates from 1930 prison.
"Kigali City will decide on what the prison will turn into. If they want it to be a historical museum they are free to do it after the inmates have relocated to Butamwa，" he noted.
If turned into a museum， Kigali Central Prison will be the 9th museum in Rwanda.
Rwanda continues to put tourism at the top because the country is endowed with remarkable attractions such as rare mountain gorillas， historical museums and beautiful canopy walk.
The tourism industry is the country's largest foreign exchange earner.
